Why I'm running for City Council

Over 24 years as a resident I have seen many changes come to Burleson. There has been so much growth and big thinking, and with that comes growing pains. I’ve witnessed good and bad decisions from city officials and participated in conversations of disappointment as well as pride in being a Burleson resident.
It’s easy to sit on the sideline and comment. It takes courage to jump in and use one’s voice for good through critical decisions that affect the entire city. That is exactly what I am doing. Running for any office is not for the lighthearted. I made this decision with careful consideration and prayer.
My goal is to effect positive change for the city of Burleson, to make my hometown the best place in which to live, eat, work, and play.
